Ok so the first month of the New Year is nearly over already. Hopefully you would of had a good start to the New Year swinging away and meeting other fellow uk swingers and making new friends especially as this is one of the most important things in the swinging world. It's not just about meeting and having sex as some people tend to think, its also about gaining friendships so that you can continue to meet the same people again. I have been looking at the uk swinging club venues and already they are filling the calender up with swinging theme nights for this year. If you havet noticed already just above where you are logged in you will see a TAB which is Party Dates and info. There is where i will be posting upcoming swinging events from swinging clubs up and down the country. Sadly for me (Dene) this year hasn't started out too well. My Grandad was diagnosed with progressive cancer sometime back in 2007 and unfortunatly didn't have long to live. Well in last few weeks he went down hill really quickly and yesterday, Saturday 26th January, he passed away in his sleep and is now finally at rest bless him. Right back to subject in the world of swinging. Firstly i came across this swinging event taking place this year in florida. It's called Swingfest 2008. SwingFest 2008 is a 4 day Lifestyle / swingers convention taking place July 31 to August 3, 2008 that will consume the entire luxurious, beachfront, westin diplomat resort and hosted by the infamous adult superstar Marey Carey! SwingFest 2008 offer's everything possible to ensure you enjoy yourself at it's incredible swingers parties, poolside events, daily seminars, and massive exhibit area.
On top of that they will be handing out goody bags, hosting countless giveaways, and holding some really fun contests, so nobody should go home empty handed. There is also a MR & MRS Swingfest competition which they will be judged on talent, night or no wear, and interviews then scored by judges and the crowd response. Sometime later on in the year there is the annual Pleasure expo which is the Midlands adult lifestyle exhibition featuring products and services for the more sophisticated mature audience. At present the date is to be confirmed so I will keep you all posted. Then the most famous adult lifestyle show in Europe is Erotica UK held at Olympia for three days in November...and who said the Britsh dont do sex? This event just gets better year after year and what a great place to mix and chat with other fellow swingers, like we did last year having many members from SwingforPleasure meeting up and having a great day out. Foxxies Parties opened there doors to there first party last night, unfortunately we were unable to attend and we do not know of anyone that went. However, keep your eye out in club reviews because we will be checking out this venue sometime in the near future. Also while we are on the subject, if you have attended a club why not post your review of this club in our forum section CLUB REVIEWS, this will give other members an idea of what a swinging club is like and can help them make a judgement on whether it is somewhere they would wish to attend. Also now silver members can no longer send internal messages or read any sent to them until they upgrade to gold status Also anytime now silver members will also not be able to view members gallery pictures; we have decided to do this in order to make it more exclusive for gold members and encourage gold members to upload pictures in their gallery knowing not just any one can see them. The Forum is also now open to silver members, So come on you silver members lets see more of you taking part in the forum. Now on the subject on our very own swinging party being held here at home. Some of you will know we held a swinging party here a couple of years ago, We had a good mixture of swinging people here from swinging couples to swinging single men, who we hand picked lol. We did get complimented on our choice of single guys by the other party goers, so we must be doing something right! We haven't set a date yet for our swinging party, but its going to be real soon and will keep you all informed. Well thats my ramblings finished lol.
